This is the art blog of a girl named Lucy. Mostly my sketches, the occasional commission, bigger projects, etc.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
I just really had to do some anatomy practice all of a sudden
male torso 10-15 min
I was taking pictures for my portfolio but they’re crooked and the lighting is wrong so I’ll have to take them in a different way in different light tomorrow, but since I had these pictures I might as well post them informally on my art blog. These are all charcoal drawings I did at SCAD.
so I drew Pico in a weird cartoony style and I … kind of like it?

usually I make his eyes super narrow but maybe I shouldn’t do that anymore
idk maybe I’ll work on refining this cartoon style
Hello my name is Lucy and this is the first time I’m opening commissions. I need to pay my mom back for school textbooks and I’m also saving up for a BJD, so since I’m unemployed and have time on my hands during January I’m offering my services, such as they are. Above are some samples of the kind of work I do. If it’s to your liking consider buying some art from me! I do 10 commissions at a time, so get in before your spot is filled.
Tree Boy by Lucy
I try to not post old art on this blog but I stumbled on it while going through my stuff and wanted to post it.
First thing I’ve drawn in months and it’s just a profile. Blegh.
This is a really shit scan of a really quick drawing so bare with me on this. I am using my mom’s fax machine/printer/scanner so it’s not exactly an ideal piece of equipment I’m working with here. I’m going to mostly be working with my tablet when I can help it.
This is Nye. Familiarize yourself with him because you’re going to be seeing his face a lot. I just love to draw him. He is in a fantasy book I’m writing called Flight of the Sylvan. He is half-elven and has a lot of funky psychic visions. He is also very naive and curious which gets him into a lot of trouble. You will be seeing his companion Pico very soon on this blog.
